Opposing-Quest for Prey

Written: December 22, 2023, For Di11y Da11y Poetry Contest _____________________________________ Awful rumors arose on a rainy day at twilight. Dwelling in darkness, guilty of stealing light. Drops in rhyme, color-and-time lyrics draw me. Through vibrant strokes, a love riot sings poetry Wonderful truths spread on a sunny day at dawn. Embracing brightness, innocent of sharing sundown. Rises out of rhythm, monochrome-and-space verses repel me. Through dull strokes, a hate calm whispers poetry.

Oh wow, dear Sotto,you've so wisely chosen an impeccable poem to write a replying contrast poem for~both of these poems flow so amazingly with such impeccable artistry of your words and the opposing sense has been conveyed stunningly! "Embracing brightness, innocent of sharing sundown","Rises out of rhythm, monochrome-and-space verses repel me" So impeccably done, I think this should do very well in the contest as every word meticulously presents as the contrast to your previous words..beautiful

You’ve done this prompt very well dr sotto, your take on it is complete opposite of what you’ve written here and thats brilliant. Youve gone with words that are antonyms in a way that it still makes sense and flows in eloquence as your original poem does.
