Open My Eyes
Open my eyes, that I might
See
Give me wisdom so I can
Understand.
Enlighten, I want to be so
I’ll know your word
Hold me up so that
I don’t fall
Embrace me with your spirit
That I may know compassion.
Continue to live and walk
within me.
That I may know real
Love
And in that love, show me,
How to give it back.
So those who walk alone,
Can know of your love,
Through me.
Lord, keep filling me with your
Spirit ,
That I might be used
In a way that makes a difference.
So open my eyes, that I might see.
To give back to a world in need of thee.
