Only For a Moment

For a moment
It was tranquil, peaceful and serene
No sound could be heard
The wind did not breathe
It did not even sigh
The clouds dissipated
Leaving only blue
Hanging suspended from the heavens
The soft luscious green grass lay
Like a thick carpet beneath my feet
All time and movement was suspended
Only the sun radiated "it's " heat
On the forest floor
The trees stood still
In a silent salute
In this motionless moment
Only for a moment
I took a breath
And broke this magical peaceful spell
