One Week
One week of waking by her side
Falling asleep in her loving arms
Waking with a smile upon my lips
And a lover in my arms
One week of watching her every move
Soaking up her every smile
Hearing her every word
And sharing with her every thought
One week walking through the parks
Strolling down the streets
Holding her hand
And never caring what looks we get
One week of playing
Joking back and forth
Playful laughter
and cute little arguments
One week of scary movies
Cuddling together on the couch
Laughing as each other jumps
And hiding the other from the monsters
One week to spend in her life
All the little things are precious
Each moment a brilliant gift
Each mine to cherish forever
And others think it's silly
