One September Day-N
Each new day is a gift to all This one is special, first day of Fall
Each day is a gift, released from God's treasure chest Each day is a blessing, even when nature is stressed
As I arose today and looked out of my front door, I beheld a good day that has never been before
It's a beautiful Autumn, a dry and pleasant morning From where I sit, it's not a day of mourning but adorning
Sometimes it seems God's blessings have no rhyme or reason And sometimes we take them for granted season after season
He showers great benefits upon the bad, the ugly, and the good; most times without regard to whether we've done the things we should
It seems in Fall, there's a special beat of this pilgrim's heart Not January, yet I am compelled to anticipate a new start
From my front door, for just a moment or two, I observed that the leaves on the trees were still full of the color green
Because of Autumn, the green scene will be brown and golden' but come Spring, new leaves full of color and life will be seen.
