One Question
I sit here with my visions of you,
Etched in my heart,
Loving, wanting, desiring,
All that you are.
I feel a hole,
Full of emptiness,
With you not here,
By my side.
A hole un-fillable by any other,
A love so profound,
That could never diminish,
In time, in space, in the universe.
What holds my heart is you,
Always you my love,
My sweet, my dearest one,
My soul you have forever.
Never reaching the bounds of infinity,
But trying with each breath I take,
While my thoughts are of you, and only you,
For there it is, I will find you.
The joy of when we will be together,
Lingers in my mind,
Wanting your touch, your lips of wine,
Your skin of an angel, a special angel.
One I will love,
That I have loved,
For all time,
Never to forsake you.
I have,
But for you,
One question ……
Will you marry me?
