One More Time

One more time 

Hand in hand we watch
sleepy waves yawning
neath amethyst skies
softly illumined by
 lemonade moonbeams
in rhythmic motions
midst hypnotic sighs
on a sandcastle shoreline
of reflections floating 
silently on the tide
as we fall in love
one more time

I love the message in this one, Chris. I can see it happening on a date with my husband of 62 years. I love romance, and your poems are full of it. I read that long, long poem of long ago, all the way to the end. Anyone reading your poems out loud could surely appreciate the flow and rhythm of your work. The metaphor and rhyme isn't shabby either.
