One Minute
Listen to poem:
I
need
a minute
to breathe
when I can lock
the door behind me
and not hear
a single sound
not even
the chatter
inside my brain
I need that minute
so very desperately
when I can
close my eyes
and whisper
just a sigh
and listen with
ultimate delight
to the bubble
of silence
around
my
head
