I'm back temporarily to post this poem  for the "When one line is never enough contest" sponsored by Bev Smith.

One Liners a Battle of the Sexes

I gazed into her eyes until she could imagine the person she wanted me to be.

If I do it wrong the first time it will free up a lot of time for me later.

No I don't need hearing aids, I have perfected the art of selective hearing.

Take your time, I'll be in the car testing the horn.

How was I supposed to know you didn't want me to answer your question?
