One Grain Of Sand

One grain of sand
         Among many I am
             A particle measured many
Yet solid suspended in the air
                     A particle definite shape
                        Difference yet the same
                            A granular material
Making up an empty space in time
Yet God sees me among the many
A grain of sand when multiplied
                                             Can stop a flood
                                                Very course I am
Yet weight just one millionth of an ounce
                                                         Filling an empty space
Call I am a grain of sand
                                                                 Shaped measured length
                                                                    Wide and depth
                                                                         Just one grain of sand

The space I filled just for me
One grain of sand I am
                                                               Very small measured I am
One grain of sand in time
                                                    Among many filling a dam
                                               Thousand of million
                                        Of grain of sand
                                   Filling a space a place
                              Among many
Holding back the time in space
                     With every grain in place

Julius, A special place here among these grains of sand. Have I been here before? Or is it only Déjà vu. -Richard

You are apart of the grains of sand. Each one makes up the earth we live in. I believe that's the way God has make it to be. "The heaven and the heavens belong to God, but the earth, He have given to mankind." Each person has one time to be here and back to the earth we return, with our spirit and soul return to God where we came from.
