Gods most everywhere
on display
ornate their frames
honored even those of
cold marble
of glass though stained
dusted polished touched-up
refurbished when chipped
more luster gold dipped
on album covers
chanted and sung
bronze coated highly rung
Gods man’s stutter before
one truth --
