One God

Gods most everywhere
on display

ornate their frames

honored even those of
cold marble
of glass though stained

dusted polished touched-up
refurbished when chipped

more luster gold dipped

on album covers
chanted and sung
bronze coated highly rung

Gods man’s stutter before
one truth --

I hear you, Joe; many start out as decent ministers and are eventually corrupted by manifestation of supernatural power. People are attracted to the Light, very appealing of the opposite sex, and the devotee begins to take ownership of the miracles. Lesser ego, non universal ego, is a habitual seducer. As one goes further along the path, temptation never goes away, just becomes ever more subtle. The personal, must be taken out of the equation. One must always say, to self, Christ does the work...and not I. This applies to all types of journeys, politics, show busy -- one has to work constantly at being humble...or risk becoming a complete narcissistic fool. I'm certain you understand and agree. Blessings my friend.
