One Fine Night

"one fine night"

do you remember the night that one fine night
starting as a three hour tour lasting endlessly
witnessing the sun then the moon and sun once more
never expecting our happy place to reveal her all
mesmerized by sights and sounds as the sky changed
clueless of the clock telling us lights out last call

encaged were we by protection of the oceanfront world
nothing planned we embraced the surprise without a care
some would have taken opportunity to endulge pleasure
others would have looked for ways out to go back home
on golden sands we sat hearing tides seeing reflections
savoring such a moment entrusted beyond any act of love

do you remember that one fine night beneath radiant stars
witnessing the heavens of our happy place reveal her all

Very engaging poetry, Lisa. Romance and Love are timeless and ask only for acceptance. They give us such beautiful memories. Your poem was fluid, it rolled along like the oean waves. Thank you for sharing to beauty you've seen and experienced my sweet friend. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill
