Once upon a time, there lived a lady With red painted lips and nails She loved with all her heart and soul This man who was often by her side As the years passed by them both They found their way together Always a part of each other’s world Forever alive in the dance of hearts They followed their hopes and dreams Went on to be even closer it seems But as the years passed by them farther They reached out and discovered poison The poison was a potion of jealousy and greed That left them feeling lost and alone Despite the fact that they still traveled together The road was getting worse as they went Jealousy trapped them into letting others in To the world that had been for her and him Entangled in affairs that were adulterous They were trapped by vicious lies and hurt Greed brought them down to other’s level Where they found they could no longer go together They were left with nothing more than memories Of a time when innocent love filled their dreams Their once upon a time became a fatal dread That led them off alone to reach toward tomorrow With a hope that someway they’d lose their sorrow And discover another best friend to share their heart
