Once I Obcessed
Once I obcessed
over light and dark,
the litany of wrongs
and rights,
shades between
no straight could lean,
all my structures
needing upright--
all I’s dotted
all T’s crossed,
not a hair
out of place--
yet a longing inside
all good features
could not hide.
