On The Wings of an Angel

In the arms of an angel, Where the gentle whispers play, I’ll soar through the silent shadows, And leave the world at bay. With wings that brush the heavens, In a twilight soft and blue, I’ll find my peace and solace, As I fly away with you. Through the valleys made of starlight, In the moon’s embrace, I'll glow, In the arms of an angel, To the place I long to go. Every sorrow gently fading, Like the night turns into dawn, On the wings of an angel, To a love that's never gone. No more tears to weigh my heart down, Only warmth and sweet reprieve, In the arms of an angel, In your love, I shall believe. So, I’ll fly through skies of longing, Where the dreams and spirits roam, In the arms of an angel, I’m finally coming home.
