On the Plus Side

As I sit in front of my computer, My energy levels low, As I fight the big C, I am finding a consolation, In doing five-minute jobs, Jobs put off, When quite well.

Thanks so much Harry. I am fortunate that is stage one and curable, sudden unexplained weight loss, low energy levels and loss of appetite were first signs. Talking to other cancer patients seems to be common and important to go to Doctor as soon as symptoms appear. I am also fortunate in having a support network. Too many people living alone and pining away which is weird with big populations. Poetry soup is a great platform. Hope you enjoy it to.Thanks again for reading. Best regards David in NZ

Appreciate your thoughts. I am pacing myself and following treatment rigidly. Managing 30 minute stints in garden and going through accumulated papers etc. I am blessed that it is only stage one and we had a good team of Doctors and Nurses to keep me positive. Including nutritionist. regards David
