On the Page

Words don’t leap and dance.
They hobble, trip, and fall flat.

I'm so fond of haiku, and this fits the bill. I like it. Wow! I don't have words to praise it, in case they won't leap and dance. But I'm sure they would - for this one!

Thanks Pix! I think about poems to write nearly every day. But I don't write them down (or enter them into my phone or laptop). I may foolishly try to memorize a stanza, knowing I'll likely forget it before I ever record it. lol
