On Succeeding

Never doubt your ability to succeed Pressing toward your ultimate goal, Your eye on the green light, proceed Never doubt your ability to succeed, Even if no one believes in you, indeed Your eventual success you can control Never doubt your ability to succeed Pressing toward your ultimate goal.

It is so important that little children have this instilled into them.

Especially if no one believes in you. Many have succeeded on that path. Still that special someone often encourages. Be that someone.

Thanks, Jeff. I've known a few "stubborn old men" like this in my time. But, as I always say, "keep chipping!" I've never had a lawn so beautiful it needed protecting like that!

We may hit a rock in the road sometimes but we carry on regardless until we reach our goal. I hate it when things nearly get the better of me, it makes me even more determined to succeed. Tom

Absolutely, Tom. The more obstacles I butt up against, the more determined I become. It's more than persistence. It's an obsession. Thanks.
