Morning waits for His signal, His sign dew melts into the gentle petals, a story blessed by love, a story of grace a love story, broken by hearts who bleed remembering the darkest moments the distant sound of fear, overwhelming grief dawn whispers across the silent skies revealing a blessing, the sound of laughter in the trees, in the wind’s gentling sigh leaves twirl, a tango of breathless praise rushing to the surface of yesterday’s quiet sense of serenity, love and faith miracles are remembered in the mists mountains surviving rain and wind coloring the heart in mournful desire reflections of the steady ache the flow of stillness, alive like the music of a happy child stories, crisp and curious, fascinating the warm longing of a distant prayer fading into the spirit – oh, does God care? Morning light falls, celebrating time reassuring the war inside He is with me, a shining light… He will fill me with grace that abides in my heart, where He survives the sin, the heartache, the despair I know the music of His sensitivity blessing away the darkness, the shadows gone by dawn, His kiss a soft hope rising in the spirit, singing, rhythmic stories on the river, quiet thoughts music and song abide inside – never amiss He is there in the morning, a quiet thought He is there in the evening, a distant light He is there, eternally – in my heart, in my soul He is the One who will bring me through the darkness of death, leaving the world knowing that I’m blessed… to be going home!
