On Botticelli's the Birth of Venus

Her eyes draw a heavenly peace to mind, Where the green color of the sea doth dwell. Her face is a beauteous wishing well, Which reveals her splendor to all mankind. Her golden hair gently blows in the wind, As she sails across the sea on a shell. Any attentive viewer's eyes can tell That her figure was carefully designed. Zephyr and Chloris continue blowing Their perpetual winds over her head. The pink flowers of beauty keep flowing Across the landscape in which she is led. Towards the shoreline her seashell keeps going, As the Hora of Spring robes her in red. © 2020
