On a Lovely, Festive Summer Day

The willow sways in the breeze Flowers emerge from their leaves Forest creatures come forth to play It's a lovely, festive summer day Inside my home's another story In family quarrels there is no glory Why can't my own siblings see Today is custom-made ~ the world agrees

While there is no magic bullet throwing it out there may give a reader cause for pause. Poetry I often think is a powerful tool that can change minds around issues and become that ah ha moment. Great poem, can't go past a sunny day as backdrop to your message. Best regards David in NZ

So true. (I sure didn't get along with my sisters. Most of my friends didn't get along with their siblings either). Here's to Peace in the Family, gw

Another clear snapshot of the delima of childhood. The differences between siblings is amazing. Caught up in our own ego, trying to find our self worth; blinds us to the beauty of the diffences in others. A poet friend, Bill

Gosh, you must have been an awesome brother, Bill. As for me, I was a total jerk. ~ Steve Martin
