On a Bus From Norfolk

On a bus leaving Norfolk late Friday night, I was in the last seat in the back A young and pretty woman boarded with hair so long and black She was a sailor's dream sitting across from me and slowly falling asleep I was gazing out the window and dozing off myself and the snow was getting deep We stopped in D.C. on a six hour layover. We were going to be there for a while I tapped her shoulder waking her. She wiped her eyes and I saw her smile. She walked away and I headed into the city wondering if I would see her again There was a warmth in my body that I had felt before but I couldn't remember when. Getting back on, I took the same seat, sat back and closed my eyes Then I heard a soft voice asking to join me and felt the touch of her thighs. She said, " I'm on my way to New York to see my Dad. How about you?" I was on my way home for the first time in years, but I'll be just passing through. Then as she laid her head on my shoulder we began to twist in the seat. As her lips touched mine, I could feel the heat. We were both reaching for something in the dark of the night Fulfilling our wildest dreams and it all felt so right Draining each other of our passionate hunger as the bus moved in the wintry storm My hands touched her body as if it were gold, but gold never felt so warm We said good bye and parted ways on that cold morning in December I never saw her again but until this day, it was a night I'll always remember.
