Haiku doenst have to be 5,7,5. The maximum is 5,7,5. You can have less and haiku is supposed to be about nature. If not then it is a senryu

Thanks. Frankly am confused, learned Haiku here and always thought it should have 575 syllabus count and no human emotions but Brain's blog post had last line emotions like mine and Andrea's first winning Haiku had syllabus count of 255. Does that means modern Haiku's are different from traditional? It does seem like that. Am learning new things every day since I joined PS.Have a great day ahead. Regards Rama
