Okay, I'M Ready, What's Step Two

I followed the recipe on the first meal, Cooked for my wonderful new expectant bride. Focused on ingredients, prepared with zeal, I baked it too long, it came out burnt and dried. Our first crib in a box, directions in hand, Assembled in order, part by pictured part. By no means was it easy to understand, Something just wasn't right, I had to restart. Following the soft spoken voice from my phone. My wife in labor, son ready to be born, Siri's voice was so calm in her normal tone, Wrong way on a one way met with blaring horn. No directions, a father in the making. At first glance he surprised me with his beauty. His helpless head bobbled in my hands shaking. A feeble first step of parental duty.

lol! A mad scientist indeed! Sounds like you have a lovely family Michael. My oldest, 29 and my youngest, 19 are both boys and my two girls are 21 and 20.. and I have to say it's been a joy ride and never a dull moment. When my oldest son was in high school, he was a drummer in one rock band and a guitarist in two metal bands and band practice was in my basement.., almost every night... ahhh the good ole days...lol! :)

I have three kids, 18, 14, and 12. It's like my own little science fair. I get to do new experiments every day and test the hypothesis. They are my guinea pigs. Some days, that can make any a dad a mad scientist...
