Oh Moon

Oh moon!~ here I am again, though I know you not the source of light – yet, somewhat, nearer myself you tend to open more in the night, shine less reluctant when the world seems further away from public less exposing perhaps, less severely judging your light compassionately muted, for sore hearts to freely pour-out not feeling so harshly evaluated every beat counted, every pulse needing guarding yours a seeming more sympathetic illumination~ than that dear, declarative inner-voice, my echoing wisdom of glaring remorse~ my long slate of failed dawns immemorial –

The moon certainly does seem to make a good listener, and I'm sure she's heard many lovesick pleas.

I love this, Joe. That wistfulness, sadness but pulling out of it sort of okay... Elizabeth

“The moon like an enchantress comes… To inspire us before the pregnant dawn.” Writing at night is best, until sleep patterns are messed up.i have had to chill out and sleep. The last phrase was so powerful Joe! Panagiota
