Oh How I Love and Do Miss the Sea
The waves crash hard like a fist
They hit the bank and create a soothing mist
I walk the beach and the sand parts my toes
It cures me of my earthly woes
The sound of the water striking the shore
Relieves my depression and it is no more
I leave the barefoot imprint of my problems by the dockside
So that the ocean will take away my stress along with the tide
The feeling of the deep blue is what I like the most
It mends my broken heart when I’m at the coast
The smell of the salt air comforts me
Oh how I love and do miss the sea
