Oh Great Lacy

Sitting outside here
Something caught my eye
So beautiful and fast
It was a lovely butterfly
It slowly landed
On my favorite rose
That beautiful flower
You could smell with your nose
Woodpecker was so loud
Annoyed the heck out of me
As I was looking at the clouds
Lacy went running fast as can be
Oh, no! There's a skunk
That's why she went so fast there
Tonight, having her sleep inside
To us wouldn't be fair
Barely can breathe
Thanks to her being sprayed
Outside she can go
Right to the garage and lay
Sun was still shining so bright
Right down on me
Made me wanna jump with glee
Happiest moment yet
Is when my man I can see
Coming home to be with me
