What a double muddle. The dog fell in a mud puddle. He jumped in the pool, Which was against the rule. They called out to him. "You forgot to learn to swim" Oh fiddle faddle. "Its ok" he said, "I can dog paddle".

SV, what a moving, humorous, and expressive work brimming with nuanced creativity; I'm certain it touches the children's hearts and minds too deeply! You possess a linguistic ability that is simultaneously tender and profound.

Its a simple little rhyme, but these days children grow up so quickly, with five year olds using computers. So Nursery rhymes really have to be aimed at the very young, like about 3 year olds. (older kids wont be interested.) So the KIS rule must apply. Keep It Simple ! Thanks for your lovely comment my friend.
