Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be
Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be?
Oh Dear, what can the matter be?
Are the fish dying in the sea?
If not, I hope the world will go on.
There’ll be another night and dawn.
Oh Dear, what can the matter be?
Did someone try to injure me,
because there’s an angel over my head.
Better think of something else instead.
Oh Dear, what can the matter be?
There’s reason to be happy.
I don’t think I’m in aching pain,
not any that I should complain.
Oh Dear, what can the matter be?
It’s a brand, new day so let me see.
Can I walk, talk and move around?
I guess there’s nothing to be found.
Oh Dear, what can the matter be?
There’s still something bothering me.
Wait! I know the trouble today.
Now what was I about to say?
