Oh, Those People

Oh those people who say they will be there They can be found just about everywhere Even schedule a day, then nothing is heard No respect, yet claim to be friends is absurd Calling after the fact as if it is no big deal With every excuse, could care less how you feel No matter what the circumstance happens to be But, happy to say, I don’t do that, reputation free! Oh, I am laughing here. I have a "friend" who has called and cancelled three times twenty minutes after she was supposed to be here. The last three times she has tried to make a date with me, I have been too busy to make one. Nicely done.

They are everywhere in every life..best to ignore them. Isn't it a shame they do so casually without much regret.
