Of Optimism

Optimism is...
encouraging,
as in a hope for the best.
Promising;
alabaster clouds 
in the horizon
An anticipation 
of something good.
A yearning 
and prayer
for world peace.
An auspicious prospect.
The sun 
shining above.
An augury 
of great expectations.
The crescent moon
with a wide smirk, 
so pleased to meet you.
A cup 
that is half-full, 
as opposed to 
half-empty.
A look 
on the bright side.
A change
for the better.
A window
of opportunity.
A peek
into the future,
into possibilities,
into dreams.
A saving grace.
