Of Me and An Empty Chair

Just sitting there... overflowing with air yet empty... a seat back and four legs all empty... empty like my heart... sitting here in its sac... all of us empty because you're gone... gone to where we know not... leaving us here all alone at the table...round and bare surrounded by an empty heart and chair...sitting all alone... My being is like an empty table set only with love... yet covered with place settings of agony... accompanied with knives and forks of pain...staring at a lonely and empty chair looking at me... The dining room of love is so full of picturesque memories... yet empty of the fragrant scent of the love that once filled the surrounding air... filling all the lingering emptiness here... Together I sit here at the table with an empty chair... missing and wishing you were there sitting in my heart's empty chair filled with loving despair: In the fullness of all the emptiness... we miss you.
