Notes About The Poem

OF LIPS AND TONGUES

Closed lips

Hide their tongues;

Open lips

Let their tongues

Plow and sow

Together:

Reaping that

Which is

Juicy and sweet

To both

Tongues and lips:

Nourished

In fruiting

oneness.
