Of Butterflies
Butterfly wings a-flutter upon the current of life
Carried to fields of milkweed feasts
Colors blending amongst the flowers
Beauty dies to metamorphous
(Truth endures the time)
Cocoon-wrapped fragility
Births forth the new generation
The cycle of hope remains intact
And I stand in awe of such mystery
