Ode To Luna
The moon shines bright when human beings sleep
And fairies sprinkle moon dust on the earth
They try to cease the mournful ones who weep
They charm, enchant, entice those ones to mirth
Before the evening star gives up her throne
And blue moons disappear from the night sky
We only watch and have to wait alone
Until the grandiose sun shall arise
But I prefer the nighttime dim and dark
For Luna works her magic charms on me
I sit and watch the pigeons in the park
Before the sunlight strikes a mark on me
I pray for those lost souls who are afraid
Please, Luna, give them what they need and aid.
