Notes About The Poem

This was written in honor of Joey Feek, the bride of Rory feek of the music duo, Joey+Rory. They are friends of mine. Rory was responsible for my acheivement of a songwriting deal with Harlan Howard Songs Inc. in Nashville. Hopi and Heidi, Daughters, are the sweetest girls on earth. I have never met Indiana in person, but would love to someday. God bless the Feek family and Joey's family. Your friend, chuck

Ode To Joey Feek

You never changed, the love you'd bring,
To home or center stage
Your music flowed and the afterglow,
Still brightens up our days

Sweet child of His, you will be missed
But in our hearts... we know
You now sing for your great King
You always loved Him so
