Ode To H2o

Shinning shimmering glare Strikes my eyes as the sun Crystallizes your flow. How you came about Is still uncertain, We may never know. Oh mother of Earth, Nothing is possible If you don’t run. Who would have thought, A combination of 3 atoms Is what keeps us alive? Regardless of its form, Solid, liquid or gas We have it all around. Nothing is eternal, And just as it appeared It can vanish at any time. Future generations march, Thirsty in body soul and heart All yearning for a drop. What will we do, When all we have Is oxygen and hydrogen apart? It’s now up to you, My reader, I already made the ode to H2O. -Inactive Volcano

Rahima, may the 2 atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen that were married eons ago, last to eternity.
