Ode Ear Those Ears
Ode ear those ears, for you I fear
Bombastic melodies endured
Lawn mowers, chain saws and fireworks
Damage through the years most assured!
No ear protection considered
Tell me, has anyone heard of that?
Sudden sounds from who knows where,
Will leave a soul, skittish as a cat!
Almost trampled by some cattle
Because the herd was left unheard
Wouldn't that cause a gooey mess
A way to check out, too absurd!
