October To Remember
OCTOBER TO REMEMBER
It is another October
and every leaf sways
as I sing your name.
Even when you no
longer hear my voice
Be sure that it is another
October and I grieve alone.
I grieve your love and my love
and dreams that never bloom.
I adore you even when it is
another October and you are
no longer here to hold my hand,
to tell me that it is well.
