October
When I think about October, I look to the past. The days are shorter, with a cool breeze in the air.
The trees are turning into beautiful colors, bright red~yellow~orange is everywhere. Yards need to be raked, many bags need to be filled. Playing in the leaves, it is so much fun.
Into the house for a rest, hot apple cider is on the stove. It is the best, now to warm our weary bones.
When I think about October, I look to the past. Summer is now gone, winter will be coming real fast. A time to make changes, warmer clothes for one.
The summer door wreath needs to go, we need fall leaves and a scarecrow. In a few more weeks a change will be needed, fake snow and bells will look splendid.
I love October, it is a great fall month. The problem is, I wish it would last a little longer.
