FIRST PLACE Inspired by "O" New Poetry Contest Sponsor: Constance La France

This world wouldn’t be such a great place to live Unless we had some obsessed human souls! Scientists are obsessed with inventions - a vaccine, a formula, a concept… Writers are obsessed with words and stories, Artists with paints, colours, shapes… musicians with melodies and feelings! My obsession was books - hard to believe... I understand! a little girl, instead of playing hide and seek, and chasing after butterflies, I searched and found books from every corner of my world ! All kinds of books …and nobody stopped me from reading fiction or non-fiction, religious or travels … Anything in print filled my world! Probably obsession stays in our genes… because in my later life, I developed a passion for art… No cruel realities in the world could stop me from pursuing an intense love of creating objects which were intricately designed, and pleasing to the eyes, and the soul. If you consider these passions to be of obsessive nature, I don’t deny … I am happy to be obsessive!
