Obsession

I confess I read every poem you write
I rarely leave a comment or you'd know
This obsession of mine is far from trite
Please, I beg you, don't make me let this go

Your love sonnets are written just for me
Whispered words of love that thrill to the core
Rhymes and rhythms touch so sensuously
The depth of your love is for evermore

Imagery your gift - a rose - I receive
Each petal described from a colorful world
All the thorns carefully by you are relieved
Personifying truly I'm your girl

I study placement of a comma and dash
This muse I have for you will always last

Thanks, Michelle. This was fiction but at a time in the past it would not have been beyond me at all.

Oh I love it Susan, I've seen obsession on soup so bad its lead to stalking and sadly people have left because of unwanted attention - so easy to read every poem as if it was meant for you:-) good luck in the contest:-) hugs Jan xx
