Object Lessons, Letter To My Pastor

Dear Pastor, A God who is big enough and faithful enough will be there for us. His sovereignty will determine relative conditions and final outcomes. The basis of our relationship with Him demands that we fully trust Him. On yesterday, God took your object lesson and divinely painted a perfect picture. Were I a filmmaker or director, perhaps I would title the film, "Trusting God". Best filling the shoes of 'big enough and faithful enough', Mat would be the perfect actor, and playing the role as "GOD", he would receive the unrivaled academy award for best actor. Josh too would recieve best actor award in the category of "The Best Possible Christian" who fully puts his trust in the Lord and leaning back on both heels, never doubts that The Lord will always be there to catch us if or when we fall. Here lies the portrait of the Christian we admire and aspire to be. Also playing the role as "Christian" is Eric who would also get the best actor award for the role of "The Typical Christian, The Reality Christian, The Rubber Meets The Road Christian, or The Me too Christian" who leans on His Lord in spite of doubts, fears, and weaknesses. And finally you, Pastor, would receive the award for 'Best Producer' as a pastor who allowed God to use you in such a remarkable way. Great job, Pastor. Love, Curtis 08202018cjPoetrySoup
