Obe

I did some Wicca before my obe
(As then I was experimenting)
I went into a dream world
And this caused my obe
I saw some fascinating things
I was floating in the sky
With my friend right next to me

Neither of us noticed
What was coming towards us
I knew I wasn’t asleep
For I could feel as if I’m awake
Finally I saw what was to happen
A being, a creature came out

It attacked my friend vehemently
I feared for my own life
So I returned to my body
Neither one of us were hurt thank goodness
Though he suffered a little pride damage
We had just survived a great attack
From a Demon...

This is from an actual story between me and my friend (A). Another friend (B) of ours was there and saw the both of us and also saw our friend (A) get blasted. We didn’t sleep for weeks as we knew it could happen again if we allowed another obe! I don’t wish this on anybody. But I do have to say the actual obe was refreshing. The rest was terrifying! *obe stands for out of body experience.

Wow, Wonderfully written poem. I must say my experiences were different and beautiful. They happened when I was young and unintentional. The first was when I had pneumonia and was unconscious. I was looking down at my brother's class at school. The second was at church. I must have drifted away I was having a conversation with my grandmother, who was saying her goodbyes. We found out later she had passed away. Thank JC Hawkens

Russ I too went out of body before being trained, it is best not to do this without spirit guides or animal spirit guardians..I flew toward the brightest light ie what i precieved to be G-d & I was told in no uncertain terms..you are NOT dead, invited or trained! what are YOU doing here! It was like getting hit in a bug zapper & snapped back into body. WE are the darkness in the Light while we are alive we are primarily clay..try going into Mother Earth the yin of G-d is gentler. A spooky poem, all the more so for its truth. Congratulations.

This is such a horrifying experience but I know being a Christian you probably never experimented with that garbage again...This probably happened when you were in your middle teens...right?...That's when lot of my friends were playing around with this wicca spiritual firestorm stuff..Hey, hope you are doing well,,,I figured school is kickin' ya bootie! It did mine! Your presence and comments are missed, Russell..you are just such a positive presence amongst your poetry community of friends. Always a friend, Gwendolen

i rarely get shook up by poetry...but Congratz Russ...u got me with this. Not only could we talk for hours, bc I have had a couple really bad ones...AND rarely to NEVER do you find someone ya' trust enough to share this stuff. The other freaky thing is you not only used my favorite word, or form of it...Juxtapose, *(juxtaposition) but you nailed another top five word of mine too, Vehement*oddly you used Vehemently. Too Spook. Plus Wicca, we need to talk sometime SOON! Freaking me the hell out!

great one Russell mate...tried visiting a lady friend platonic type ....while conscious ...went up to the ceiling, out the window ...down the bitumen roads to my friends place...saw the cut off tree rings of wood in her front yard...went through her front door...turned left to her bedroom...she was sitting up in bed reading...a loud voice told me not to invade her privacy..so i left....talked next day ...she was reading...
