O, Sweet Man
O, sweet man I’m sure crushing on you,
eyes glancing that way with that thing you do.
Looking at me with depth has brought me such desire,
now I’m flamed by your hot embers of love’s burning fire.
It’s just that it’s your hand in mine I need to acquire.
Feeling this fear to approach you is something new,
you have this smile you wear with eyes of blue.
O, sweet man you give me this secret to keep,
one that stays with me from the morn ‘til I sleep.
I fear you will not come near if you knew me that way,
but I crave to feel you next to me during a cold Winter day.
So I hold onto this passion I feel, and in my head I play
the scenes over and over; should I take the leap?
O, sweet man I have fallen in love too deep.
O, sweet man, you are all I ever care about,
but the way you look at her gives me such doubt.
I had a strange feeling you may approach without fear,
because I thought the signals were obvious and very clear.
I starve for your touch and to hear your words sincere,
for this infatuation is definitely making me shout.
When it comes to you, my heart is devout.
So I stay in my cage and watch afar,
wondering if I see you as you are.
O, sweet man, this is a crush,
drive to me in your car-
no hurry, no rush,
you are my star.
Hush, hush...
my lush.
