o lord, hear me

Lord, hear my prayer,
Get me rid of my diabetes,
listen to the little birds,
Who sing when the street lamps light up,
listen to the tram driver,
which carries so many people incapable of loving,
hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to the high school girls who make up
Before solving equations,
Get rid of the young drivers
Whose testosterone holds the wheel,
Get rid of people who ignore the slowness,
Offer me sunsets in Australia,
Lord, hear my prayer,
and my day will be better.

Diabetes is spreading rampant among many. I have been on the verge of diabetes for many years. But through strict diet, it hasn't grown into a state of forcing me to have medication. I am sorry for you. May God hear all your prayers and give you sound health.

Diabetes, yes, many of us have it…I felt wretched when I first found out. May God bless us with low numbers, keep us healthy, in Jesus mighty name. Hugs

In your unique style, you pray to the Lord! … Before solving equations… Whose testosterone holds the wheel…people who ignore the slowness, I am thinking of pace, yes…let us slow down, meditate on God’s beauty and grace. Fave for me, dear one!

Yann, don't let diabetes get you down. Is it type 2 diabetes? My husband and I both are type 2 diabetics. His is worse than mine. We both have neuropathy with his being worse than mine. Sometimes those fast drivers can be scary but the young have faster reflexes. Sara K

In light of all the modern medical advances, I keep hoping that one day there will be breakthrough cures for cancer, diabetes and other diseases. Your prayer is beautiful, Yann. I hope it is answered.

I believe you can get rid of diabetes 2 by simply changing the way you eat, radically. Sorry if you have diabetes 1. My husband has had diabetes 2 for 15 years, but he has kept it borderline by using metformin. Good luck to you. Your prayer about the guys out of control at the wheel. Let's pray they cut it the heck out!!

just hang in there. My husband is so addicted to sweets and he has been borderline for diabetes 2 just by taking metformin. It's one of the few drugs out there that is really beneficial!

I have diabetes two, so I have come to hate food. Green vegetables and little meat. No desserts. But your poem is great observation. Loved Get rid of the young drivers Whose testosterone holds the wheel. We have too many overspeeding deaths in Malta.
