O Lord give us and teach us the wisdom to number our days
When Christ was crucified on Calvary's Cross, there was felt a huge earthquake
Inside of the City of Jerusalem, the veil in the temple was ripped into two and the
Temple itself felt the earthquake. That's really when their graves were opened
And they appeared to many and talked openly about their resurrection. When,
Jesus Christ finally ascended into His Father's kingdom of heaven, He took His
First fruits right along to heaven. Emptying out the paradise compartment, known
As Abraham's bosom.
O Lord please help us to number our days, for just like vapors of smoke and they all
Too quickly fade and pass away. When we stand before Jesus, He evaluates our
Lives as we stand before Him. How did we spend or misspend our daily lives?
Were we "lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God?" "Did we seek ye first
The kingdom of God and His righteousness?" Did we accept Him as the Lord,
Savor and Redeemer of our lives? Did we "miss the mark" aka die with our own
Unrepentant and unconverted sins in our lives?
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the holy is under-
standing." "Blessed are the feet that spread the good news of the gospel of Christ."
All of those who acknowledge me before men, I will likewise acknowledge them,
Before my Father in heaven. All of those who deny me before men, I will deny
Them In the presence of my holy angels, when I return to set up my kingdom on
Earth.
He wasn't talking about the rapture. It's when Jesus meets His church, body, His
Bride in the middle of the cloudy sky. His second coming, is when He returns with
His armies in heaven, and He send His angels to "catch up" His elect from the four
Corners of the earth. And sets up His 1,000 year kingdom upon the earth.
Just like the others of my baby boom generation, we thought we would live for ever.
Yet now, I have discovered that my generation, that's passing away is the generation
That will see the return of Jesus Christ. Along with all of the other generations. But,
The Lord Jesus Christ only sees all of us as one, and the same generation. That will
Be alive during His rapture.
"You might not live to see the actual rapture, but your own individual rapture will
Take place when you die, and have to be able to give an account of your own life
Before Jesus Christ...."Pastor Rex Furman, formally of Calvary Baptist Church.
"Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve" but as for me, I will serve the Lord and
Him only shall I serve. Choose Jesus Amen!
