Many wonderful voices are heard... one of the brightest stars is seen; o joyful bells ring in glory! In the blue and quite Heavens the angels proclaim God's Word; this night is too cold for those shepherds watching their sheep on the Bethlehem's hills! A shining angel startles them, as he tells them, " The Child prophesied long ago, is born!" And that star will lead them to the manger, where He sleeps and gives off a divine glow; doesn't Mary know that Her baby will soon save Humankind? O joyful bells ring in glory! Let every angel praise the glorious birth of a Prince, who'll be the Shepherd of many... whose hearts have longed for real joy! O sweet child sent by God, you've come to redeem the sinful world!
