O Jerusalem

O Jerusalem, the chosen city, city of God. May all that inhabit your walls be saved May the birds of your skies give a joyous song to those who pray for you. O Jerusalem the city made of gold, may your walls be still and strong. May your gates enlarge for those who love you. May your enemies be slaughtered by the sword of your God. May your God keep you in his hands and save you from danger. May those who stand against you be wowed by your strength. O Israel let your cities be enlarged, You are the first born of the mighty God, may you rule over the gentiles. O Jerusalem may be joy in your cities
