I’m urgently needing to wee But ordered to withhold my pee I stand with legs crossed And feel fit to 'bost' I wonder when they will call me The doc said I need a full bladder I’m bursting to go, I get madder When I’ve had my scan I dash to the can I couldn’t have been any gladder! Written after my experience on Friday when i had to have 2 scans 03/29/20

It was a relief after the scan and thankfully the loo is right next to the scan room otherwise there could have been a flood of biblical proportions lol:-) hugs jan xx

I no longer get anxious at these things and have managed to get over my phobia of needles by writing poems about it . For this scan I was more worried that there would be a flood if I didn't get it done quickly:-) hugs Jan xx

LOL! Jan, this really "tinkled" my funny bone! Happy to see your stellar sense of humor acknowledged as potd today. Congratulations, and I hope your scans came out ok. I've had this experience as well as the opposite - everybody in the waiting room watching as you drink cup after cup of water to try to "prime the pump".
